Society House is the studio + creative home of San Diego-based photographer & creative director Sam Zauscher and all of the diverse collaborators that band together to create and inspire under one roof. On a mission to celebrate and discover culture, arts, design, and destinations around the globe, Society House seeks to create, document, promote, and publish that which inspires and is both good for the soul and society at large. Rooted in a love of people and places near and far, journalistic and candid moments mix with artful and cinematic storytelling to narrate and document the human experience through light and movement, one frame at a time.

Sam ZAUSCHER
Founder + Creative Director
Samantha Zauscher is a San Diego based photographer and freelance creative director. After dancing professionally until 2011, she retired her pointe shoes and tights for a camera full time. Inspired by both the intentional and organic choreography of camera, subject, scene, and space, she feels most free exploring each new story, project, or event as its own narrative, free from any preconceived style and ripe for collaboration.
She believes in the immense power of the human creative spirit, and considers herself the modern explorer: adventure + travel junkie with a healthy side of homebody.
